Winter Cup (Sloe & Damson Gin Liqueur)

It's beGINning to look a lot like....

Yep, we couldn't help ourselves, we had to create our own take on the British staple of sloe gin! 

So, what's winter cup & why is it different?

• We create a botanically rich gin & proof it down to a very approachable 25% ABV
• Next we soak locally picked Sloe berries & Damsons in this gin (a damson is a lot like a sloe, but larger & with more plum like tastes) 
• After a long period of steeping, we remove the beautiful red gin & add in a pinch of cinnamon, cloves & orange peel for a second maceration
• We then sweeten this beautiful sloe, damson & spice gin mix with pure demerara sugar (but still a lot less than your usual sloe gin - making this a much less 'syrupy' than your traditional sloe gin) 

As always, all of our products are mixed with a pinch of local sea salt plus naturally filtered & perfectly preserved Essex spring water from our friends at Elsenham spring water (www.elsenhamwater.com) this gives all of our products a delicious minerality & full mouth feel.
