'Dos Tierras' Sin Gusano X Essex Spirits Co Agave cut Gin.

In 2020 we produced our first 100 bottles of gin in ‘gran’s garage’. Completely self taught, we had no idea what we were doing (some would say we still don’t) but here we are 6 years later! 

For our birthday we wated to combine our first love (gin) with our favourite category (agave spirits) there was no one better to do this with than the amazing Sin Gusano project who are dedicated to promoting the diversity & heritage of craft agave spirits. 

 The founder of Sin Gusano - Jon Darby - spends months each year scouring often untraveled part of Mexico meeting & cultivating relationships with agave spirits producers, getting to learn their history & processes before finally bringing some of their incredible distilled agave spirits back to the UK. We have been lucky enough to work with Sin Gusano as their UK bottling partner for almost 3 years now. 

In this bottle we’ve combined a phenomenal single batch mezcal with native European & Mexican botanicals. Ultimately we wanted to show the upmost respect to the incredible agave spirit as the base - only using the botanicals we distilled ourselves to highlight some amazing flavours. 

How to drink it? Who knows, this is a first of its type .... but we tried a mezcal/gin negroni with it and it was spectacular.
