Inspired by a Jamaican 'Sorrel' recipe that features fiery ginger, hibiscus, lime & spices we took this traditional & punchy recipe that lends itself to rum cocktails & introduced a hint of locally wild foraged English Sorrel which has a fantastic green, citrus & tart taste.
We combine all of this with British rum that is distilled to our specification to have the high ester / 'funky' flavours present in many Jamaican rums.
Perfect over ice or with any mixer - but this comes to life in cocktails & gives a stunning shade of purple to any drink!
Distillation Method & Notes
- Column distilled British rum from DropWorks distillery
- Botanicals stepped for c.48 hours
- Fresh cold pressed ginger root
